Prior to Pacific Advantage, YiHong held various positions in the telecommunication and security fields in China, New Zealand and Japan. She was the General Manager for Allied Telesyn (ATI) China's operation. There she oversaw sales, marketing and technical support for China.

She helped to create the brand awareness in the China's Broadband industry for ATI products. She led the local team to win many major projects with China Telecom, Unicom and Railcom. As a result of her effort, China achieved the top position within the AP region within one and a half years.

Prior to ATI, YiHong was the China General Manager of Teltrend Inc. She had successfully introduced and promoted ISDN technology to China Telecom, making Teltrend a well known ISDN company in China. With her leadership, she and her team win many key accounts in Telecom, Ministry of Public Security and at various Government bodies such as Education and the Police. She has set up many strategic OEM partnerships within China Telecom, The Founder's Group and others for network encryption and WAN products. All these partnerships enable the companies to strategically target niche markets and quickly penetrate the Chinese market. She also held positions of Asia Executive Manager and Product Marketing Manager with Securicor.

Prior to that, she had worked in Fujitsu FACOM in Tokyo Japan as a SE. She earned a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science in China, a Master Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University of Canterbury, New Zealand, majoring in telecommunication.
